Some blogs are just meant to be, Dear Photograph is one of them. This young, but wildly successful, website features photos within photos, a digital trip down memory lane.
Taylor Jones started the project with one of his own pictures, a photo of a photo of his three-year-old brother sitting at their family’s kitchen table (taken years later at that same table, of course). The concept of merging the present with the past appeals to thousands of the site’s visitors, so much so that Jones recently launched a book based on the blog (oh, how times change!).
I first met Jones at a tech tweet-up (see photo) a few months back after he gave a stellar presentation about the story of his blog. During this episode of App Central I catch up with Jones on the patio just upstairs from our studio, hoping he will reveal his next online project, which is bound to drive visitors back for more great content from this young digital entrepreneur.
